Housing market crises calls for action...
As house prices soar, home ownership tumbles leading us into a major crisis in the housing market a study released today warns.
Over the next decade the National Housing Federation's forecast has said that house ownership in the UK is set to decrease by as much as 63.8%, hitting its lowest level since the mid-1980s.
The combination of strict lemdimg criteria with huge deposits, on top of the high house prices have sent home ownership into a rapid decline, the Federation said.
