Those living in flood-risk areas are given repossession warning!

Due to a stand off between insurers and the government, over 200,000 people who own homes that are at risk of flooding are facing a threat of repossession of their homes. Thousands of homes that are situated in flood plains could be left uninsured because an agreement protecting them will not be renewed. This deal means insurers will provide cover for homes in flood areas, as long as the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs continues to spend money on flood defences. Need conveyancing?
